Congradulations to Rose by Bruce Wilcox for winning the 2015 Loebner Prize chat bot competition.

The Chatterbox Challenge is an annual chat bot contest to determine the most intelligent bot on the Internet. Bots most be entered to take part. The contest consists of several rounds, in each round the bots are asked a series of different types of questions and judged on their response. The winner receives a cash prize and virtual medal.

Seems even Bill is scared about AI...

"I am in the camp that is concerned about super intelligence. First the machines will do a lot of jobs for us and not be super intelligent. That should be positive if we manage it well. A few decades after that though the intelligence is strong enough to be a concern. I agree with Elon Musk and some others on this and don't understand why some people are not concerned."

The Loebner Prize is an annual competition in artificial intelligence that awards prizes to the chatterbot considered by the judges to be the most human-like. The format of the competition is that of a standard Turing test. In each round, a human judge simultaneously holds textual conversations with a computer program and a human being via computer. Based upon the responses, the judge must decide which is which.
